Norrænt þing sagnfræðinga 2025

Dagana 13.–15. ágúst 2025 verður 31. þing norrænna sagnfræðinga haldið í Reykjavík. Kallað verður eftir fyrirlestrum nú á haustmánuðum.

Aðstandendur þingsins eru Sagnfræðistofnun Háskóla Íslands, Sagnfræðingafélagið og Þjóðskjalasafn Íslands í samvinnu við Félag íslenskra safna og safnamanna, Félag sögukennara og ReykjavíkurAkademíuna.

Þingið var síðast haldið í Reykjavík árið 2007.

Nordiska Historikermötet 2025

Den 13.–15. august 2025 (uke 33) blir det 31. Nordiske historikermøte holdt ved Islands universitet i Reykjavík – hvor det har vært to ganger før i 1987 og 2007. Det første nordiske historikermöte fant sted i 1905 i Lund i Sverige og siste gang var det i Gøteborg i 2022; se https://www.nhm2022.se/

Konferensen arransjeres av Historisk institutt ved Islands universitet, Foreningen for islandske historikere og Islands nasjonalarkiv i samarbeide med Foreningen for historielærere, Foreningen for museer og Reykjavík-Akademiet. Utlysning om bidrag kommer i oktober eller november 2023. Informasjon om program og praktiske opplysninger blir publisert etter hvert på denne siden.

Congress of Nordic Historians 2025

On 13–15 August 2025, the 31th Congress of Nordic Historians will be held at the University of Iceland, Reykjavík – where it has taken place two times before, in 1987 and 2007. The first Congress of the kind was held in Lund in 1905 and last time it was in Gothenburg in 2022; see https://www.nhm2022.se/english/

The main organisers are the Institute of History at the University of Iceland, the Association of Icelandic Historians and the National Archives in collaboration with the Association of History Teachers, the Icelandic Museum Association and the Reykjavík Academy. The call for papers will be published in October or November and details on the programme and other practicalities will appear here as they become available.
